Biography
John Prudhont was born in Los Angeles, California on February 18, 1967. For the first two years of his life he lived in foster care and was then adopted by Lawrence and Shirley Prudhont shortly after his 1st birthday. He is half Finnish/Russian and half Central American Zapotec Indian and Algerian (Mozabite). He grew up in the East Los Angeles, California community of Elysian Park, with adopted parents and his adopted sister, Laura, until the age of 11, and moved with his family to the Glassell Park community where he lived until a few days before his 21st birthday. He Proficiency Tested out of Eagle Rock High School when he was 17 and auditioned for, and was accepted into, the prestigious L.A.C.C. Theatre Academy in Los Angeles. He completed the 2 year Professional Conservatory for Theatre in 1986 and enrolled in the History degree program at CSU, Los Angeles where he studied for 2 years. He then moved to Nevada City, California and commuted from Nevada City to Sacramento, California where he completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree (BA) in History from California State University, Sacramento in 1991. He then completed one year of studies at Lincoln Law School in Sacramento, California, earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Louisiana State University in 2021, and is currently a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) student at Northcentral University,
John started his career as performer, as a singer, before he was nine years old and began studying acting at The Glendale Center Theatre when he was nine. Shortly after beginning classes he began filling in for actor/singers when they were out sick during performances at GCT, including: Fiddler on The Roof, Oklahoma and A Christmas Carol. He began his professional career while at GCT by asking questions and learning about how to work professionally from other professional actors at GCT. He performed his first professional film roles in 1983 when he was cast in 4 educational/industrial films that would be shown in public schools for many years. He then auditioned for and was accepted into the 2 year professional conservatory program for Theatre at LACC Theatre Academy and completed the program in 1986. During this time, he performed the roles of Don Kerr in A Chorus Line, multiple roles in Evita at the Wray Theatre, the opening role in the West Coast Premier of The Road Hiroshima, a supporting role in the West Coast Premier of Cinders and his first, Network Television, Guest-Star Role as Peter in an episode of the hit TV Show "MacGyver".
Over the years, Mr. Prudhont has performed many roles, in live Theatre, including: Pontius Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar, Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof, Bernardo in West Side Story and Don in A Chorus Line.

John has had the pleasure of working on TV and Video projects with his wife and Producing partner, Actress/Supermodel, Eileen Rene Prudhont (Eileen Prudhont on IMDB). He is a PADI Certified Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver and enjoys Scuba Diving and running Marathons with Eileen who is also a NAUI Certified Dive Master. He also runs Ultra endurance races and has completed the Leona Divide 50 Mile Trail Race, the Nanny Goat 100 mile/24 Hour Trail Race and others as well as obstacle course races, including the Spartan Sprint, The Super Spartan and the 1st Division/1st Marines Beach Challenge.
From a business standpoint, he is the Treasurer of Nye County, Nevada, a Managing Member and Chief Financial Officer of The Business Brokers, llc. in Henderson, Nevada, Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, of The Biz Brokers, Inc. in Newport Beach, California and has help President and Chief Financial Officer positions with JMP Financial Group, Inc., Cash Flow Investments, Inc., Tangible Investment Partners, Inc., International Management, Inc., and KMJ Inc. over his past 25 plus years in accounting and finance.
In 2021, he was also elected 2nd Vice President of the Las Vegas local Board of Directors for the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA).
He lives with his beautiful wife, Actress and Model Eileen Prudhont, and their dog Mi Hija.
